Recipe ideas
- Pasta with mushrooms and truffles: cook pasta (penne, rigatoni or pappardelle), drain, reserving a little of the cooking water, then mix the pasta with the mushroom and truffle sauce, adding a little cooking water if necessary, and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- Tagliatelle with black truffle cream: cook the pasta, fry a little garlic and shallot (optional) in a frying pan, add the mushroom and truffle sauce, heat gently without boiling, then mix with the pasta.
- Meat/grilled meat garnish: use this sauce as a topping for beef fillets, duck breasts, chops, etc. Add the hot sauce to the cooked meat for a richer flavour.
- Gourmet pizza/flatbread: after partially baking the dough, brush with this mushroom truffle sauce, then add cheese (mozzarella, burrata), possibly slices of fresh mushrooms or pan-fried porcini mushrooms, then finish baking.
